Anyone Seen This

BUYERS BEWARE!
Hi all,
Check out this link. Someone tried to sell this chair at Bonhams auction house in the UK a few months back. Now it is in the news as being an "authentic" Titanic deck chair. It is very eye opening to read that Captain Smith himself gave this away to a photographer at at Queenstown. Give me a break! When are reporters going to check out Titanic related stories with real experts before they go to press? Also, the style of the chair is the type of deck chair WSL used in the 30's (wonder how it could have possibly been around in 1912? Maybe Captain Smith found a wormhole and decided to do a little bit of time travel). I know there are more Titanic chairs out there besides the one in the MMA in Halifax because we at Titanic Concepts Inc have 3 examples and a gentleman in the UK has one bought last year from Henry Aldridge and Sons Auctioneers. But rest assured... this isn't one of the real ones!
If for some reason the link does not work, go to the Titanic News Channel at http://www.titanicne wschannel.com and check out the headlines until you find the one about the "Titanic Deck Chair". Next thing you know, this will be showing up at another auction with this news article as the "provenance" and some poor sap will be soaked out of a few thousand pounds! Regards, Steve Santini.

Hi,

I took this picture last year at the Halifax Maritime Museum. I just wanted to share with you all.
