United Shipbuilding Corp. (USC) plans to raise about $ 1 billion of credit next year for shipyards construction project in the Far East, USC’s CFO Sergei Chenchik said at a launching ceremony of a river bulker held at Oka Shipyard, the PortNews correspondent reports.

Rybinsk shipyard lays down first tanker for MRSC

The Rybinsk-based Nobel Bros’ Shipyard Ltd. (Russia’s Yaroslavl region) held today a keel-laying ceremony of the lead vessel of a series of three 6,000dwt river-sea-going tankers of project RST-25. The ships will be operated by Moscow River Shipping Company, the MRSC’s press service said.
