Hi,
I happen to have two rather rare items recovered from the wreck of the Atlantic for sale.
These were recovered sometime in the early 1970's and I bought them over 12 years ago.
They consist of a section of wooden mast spar (almost 3 ft long) complete with metal attatchment points for rigging, and a piece of brass tread plate from deck stairs.
As there is no known wood left on the wreck, the mast spar is very rare. For that matter, so is the tread plate from the deck stairs.
I have kept these for many years but to be honest this is not really "my ship" and for this reason I have decided to let them go to a more interested party.
As WSL's 1st major wreck, as well as being one of the earliest vessels of the line, Atlantic relics such as these should be of interest to some collector out there.
I can be contacted at [email protected]
Thank you, Steve Santini
