Australian Radio Feature on Marconi

Australians are advised that on the night of Wednesday, December 12th, ABC National will broadcast a two hour special program to mark the 100th anniversary of Marconi's first trans-Atlantic transmission. The program will include Titanic material.

No. It was full of arty sound collages and conveyed little information. The Titanic material was negligible. It was merely a story from a crewman on Carpathia. Much of the program was predictable sound clips of things like the burning of Hindenburg, Hitler, Churchill and suchlike. Disappointing.
