Hello all, apologies if this has been answered before but I remember reading in the classic "882 answers to your questions about titanic" that in 2012 the Bank of England would open up records stating whether or not there was a shipment of gold aboard. I understand this book was for kids and probably not true but did the bank ever actually open the records?
