Hi all-
I know many of you post Birthday wishes on here for Mrs. McDermott, but what is the exact date of her birthday? And she was born in 1912 correct? The reason I'm asking is that there's a great site called "Noted Nonagenarians and Centenarians" (www.genarians.com) and the owner of the site would like to include her on it- he and I both could not find her birthdate anywhere tho.

Sorry I did not see your message. From memory,
I believe it is June 15, 1912. I'll double check, but am pretty sure as she used to joke that it was easy to remember as it was the middle of the month.

Is there anyone here who could put me in touch w/ Barbara McDermott (Or be able to forward mail to her)- I have a hobby where I draw a pencil sketch of someone notable and then try and have the person autograph it- I always draw an extra one for the person to keep as well. Darren, Barbara has received the one you sent for me to give her in October and liked it very much. I did take it to her, and happily her vision in the bad eye is restored so she was able to appreciate the work. She recognized that is was the one you copied of her at age 3.I expect she can at last catch up on mail, and I am sure you will hear from her.
