The colour of the carpets in the first class staterooms are very debatable from what I've seen in the recent year. Due to a discovery on the wreck, researchers now believe that the furniture C-15 had on the Titanic isn't the same as it was photographed on the Olympic when she entered service in 1911. During the 2005 expedition C-39 was entered for the first time and it showed a similar brass bed to the ones found on
A-deck, as supplied by the Hoskins and Sewell company. It is believed on the Titanic that the type of brass bed that could be found in C-15 on the Olympic was switched with the one that originally could be found in C-11 on the Olympic and vice versa.
If this is fully true it would mean that C-15 on the Titanic would have had a light green carpet with even lighter green lilies on it and not a dark green carpet with flowers on it as it was on the Olympic as seen on the photograph of the Olympic in 1911.
