BBC Drama play

My dear old London landlady (only one month to the day older than me!) has taped a two-part play for me, recorded at the British Council, called "The Titanic Enquiry" by Bob Sherman--a drama assembling the key testimony from archive material.

It is 90 mins. long and knowing her, it was probably BBC Radio 4, but as I don't have the tape yet, don't know for sure.

Regardless, is anyone familar with this? Quite frankly I am in the dark and would like some guidance if possible.

Hi Gavin,

I can't help out much except to say that, while visiting Lawrence Beesley's step daughter and her husband last Sunday, April 7th, Dinah showed me a program listing of this very dramatization with a list of character and actors. I believe it was in two parts, the first playing on Thursday, 11th. I'm not sure how much of it was taken directly from the hearings and how much added for drama's sake, however, as President Taft was included as a major character.

Hope this is of some help.

Best regards,
Cook
