Best looking Margaret Brown

I came across this rather old Post, but my vote has always been for Kathy Bates in the 1997 "Titanic".
Maybe not the "best looking Margaret Brown" but IMHO the closest in appearance and speech.

Perhaps. Debbie Reynolds in the musical The Unsinkable Molly Brown was the glamorized version and did not look anything like the real one.

If we're asking "best looking" with no regard for accuracy, then Marilu Henner (for a purely Titanic-oriented production which "Unsinkable Molly Brown" is not).

But "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" was definitely a Margaret Brown oriented movie and the thread was about her.

Looking back at "A Night To Remember" and some older pictures of Margaret Brown, Tucker Maguire looks a bit like Margaret Brown in her younger years.
But my vote is still for Kathy Bates as the overall "closest" Margaret Brown.

I don't include that film in making my own judgment because in *any* production of it, going back to it's stage origins, a glamorous female lead will always be playing the part. In a Titanic-based production, the casting will conscientiously have the option of deciding to go more glamorous or more authentic that will never be there for any production of "Unsinkable Molly Brown." (in short, you will *never* see a production of Unsinkable Molly Brown with someone looking like Kathy Bates in the lead)
