Bringing the Britannic to life

I was wondering...

I know that it's illegal to have a straight bow like the Titanic/Britannic, but is it illegal if it's permanently at dock (like the Queen Mary). If it isn't, then maybe a Titanic replica could be possible.

I know that riveting is long and expensive work, but maybe if the hull was welded and fake rivets were attached on the hull, then maybe they could save time and money.

>>If it isn't, then maybe a Titanic replica could be possible.<<

Building a superficial look-a-like isn't the problem. Building a replica that's faithful to the original is. Even if it never goes anywhere, there's still the matter of any number of health, safety, and environmental codes the thing would have to comply with which make a truely faithful replica out of the question.

I read about someone saying about the British owning the dead bodies from the Britannic, but, those people only died because their lifeboat was launched when the ship was still moving, so, i regret to say this but, their bodies got chopped up in the propellers. So, in theory there won't be bodies there!!

Take her to sea Mr Murdoch-let's stretch her legs

The presumption is that even in bits and pieces, their mortal remains are, even if they happen to be dissolved in the mud. Since the Britannic's status as a war grave is a matter of law, perhaps any debates are best taken up with those who who write the laws.

Well technicaly its a war grave cause the ship was sunk in a war zone by a explosion that is between a german torpedo or a german mine which are weapons of war. Dosent mean people had to die onboard the ship to have it classified as a war grave, but there was people killed due to the sinking of the ship even if it was cause a few life boats were lowered without permission while the ship was still moving ahead.

she would probably need to be kept wet like the mary rose and she would very likely collapse when being lifted, that's if she can be lifted, parts would be too heavy for lifting and well she's an underwater grave in the busiest fishing
area in the world, major authorities would be needed to even touch so much as a rivet i suppose, i'm no expert, but i'm guessing so
