BRITANNIC MOVIE

I got a idea that would probably be better than the Tv movie Britannic anybody interested in hearing it.There may be a little bit of fiction to it .But I think It's more interesting than the tv movie and there is no romance.

>>I got a idea that would probably be better than the Tv movie Britannic anybody interested in hearing it.<<

Mmmmmm...go for it. Writing a script or coming up with an idea which would be better then the existing movie should be child's play.

The movie could start off with the three ships Aboukir,Hugh,Cressy being attacked by U-9.Few years ahead the Britannic Is sailing threw a storm Later on mystery submarine is seen surfacing with a companion far away from Britannic with the attention of tracking her down to destroy her.One of the submarines captain had met Britannic on a previous voyage him and his submarine had threatened to sink Britannic because of her size but he and his crew decided to leave her alone but they managed to get a few pictures of her in case they needed them later.Britannic Is being used to transport French and British Aviators to Italy they are using Britannic to sneak past enemy action on the seas and air.The Aviators are needed for the Battle Of Somme with the Italians reeling from their defeat at Caporetto the French and British rush in to help. The two submarines split up in different areas sometimes to search for Britannic they are aware what Britannic has been sneaking and know she will be heading to Moudros It is there that they think she will drop off the troops and they refuse to let her get that far.The problem is they will be getting of at Italy not Moudros and the two mystery submarines get into a fight with a destroyer called the Cypress which destroys the second mystery U-boat but the other submarine successfully torpedoes it after escaping a chase with death charges.Britannic has arrived at Italy and the Aviators sneak off as the crew of the Britannic did not even know they had troops on board and the Britannic is stalled by a storm.Information from Yugoslavia says that Britannic doesn't seem to have as much people on board anymore leading to believe that the troops are gone and the U-boat teams up with another submarine who had received the information from a woman It took aboard at Yugoslavia they decide to head towards the Cyclades islands where Britannic is heading and wait for the Britannic at Kea/Tzia.Britannic once again Is sailing threw a storm with her bright green lights and red crosses lit.November 21,1916 starts with a bright sunshine Britannic Is sailing and two U-boats have set a trap which Britannic has entered a u-boat from the port side launches one torpedo that misses and a U-boat from the starboard launches Two torpedoes both causing two explosions in a row.Captain Bartlett Is trying to beach the ship and several boats are being smashed by propellers and men are being sucked under water by the whirlpool of the propellers being killed underwater.Britannic sends out distress signals and the Germans send out countermanding ones to a destroyer trying to stop help from reaching the vessel but the destroyer soon figures out the trick. While Captain Bartlett tries to beach the ship the U-boats are watching and are confused why the captain wont just give up and let the ship sink.Britannic sinks in 55 minutes and goes under the waves.

Does this sound better than the 2000 tv movie and do you find it interesting. It has some fiction and fact to it a little though.

You know what actually leave some of that out and for now just say the story Is about Naval and Air Warfare.Where Britannic Is Transporting France and Canadian Aviation Pilots to Italy for the Somme Offensive. And U-boats are out to track down The Britannic and destroy her but the crew don't know they are transporting Aviation Pilots and Officers who are under disguise. The British admiralty don't even know It neither do the Canadian or French governments the whole plan was Top Secret set up by Aviation commanders.

Anybody else have any good Ideas they would like to add to this Plot.Like a good title I cant think of anything.

Ha yeah I later on figured that out.I guess maybe you could just have a bunch of dogfights going on with the transported aviators trying to keep the enemy's out of Italy. That probably might be more of a safe story. In a matter of fact you could alternate between Britannic and the airplanes In the movie you know have a story about air wars and Britannic being torpedoed.Because I sure would like seeing cool airplanes battle each other In different design's and colors like the photo here.

Yeah that's right just without the gorilla though maybe you could call the Britannic movie "FALLING STAR"and show the construction of the Britannic and the Wright brothers plane at the End Credits with exciting music playing.

You gotta have the gorilla for the climactic battle with the octopus, which we first meet in one of the U-boat sequences. Attracted by the lingering aroma of Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier from the torpedo tubes, this denizen of the deep engages in a life or death struggle for the Kriegsmarine's dwindling supplies of the versatile fruit of the hop, for which he has acquired a taste after consuming many intoxicated mariners.

Too far-fetched, John - we're trying to make this believable, and I can hear the audience all shouting "the Camel didn't enter service for another year!" But it's too good an idea to pass up, so let's have Snoopy flying the earlier Sopwith Pup, which would, I'm sure you'll agree, be entirely appropriate!

I'm not talking about sci-fi the U-boats can still be attacked by allied aircraft carrier with planes dropping torpedoes an bombs trying to destroy the U-boat and a aircraft carrier try's to ram the submarines there can be more than one but luck has It a unseen submarine torpedoes It and several people get thrown into the water getting drawn into It's propellers just like Britannic.

This movie is historical fiction anybody know any true events involving air wars between Italy and the central powers that happened around November 1916 I don't want to get to fictional because the 2000 Tv movie was pure fiction why was the captains name wrong and why was there no Kea Island shown in the background. Those are things that I would of liked to see.

Bob... I know you have your heart set on octopii and an ape vs bi-plane dodfight.... but, can we incorporate a love affair between Julie Andrews, playing A Ruthless German Spy and Rock Hudson playing an intrepid WW1 flying ace? Darling Lili cost, like, $20 million in 1970 dollars and earned $14.79 at the box office. I think that we can acquire rights to use the footage relatively cheap and it contains both frilly musical interludes AND dogfights.

Add an angry ape, octopii, the Britannic, and Sensurround, and IU think we've nailed it.
