Britannic Video Clips

Would anyone happen to know where I can find some clips of the Britannic's launch and any that might still exist of the ship after that? I found a few on YouTube that are about 6 seconds in length and couldn't help but think they'd been cut down. Was hoping to find a full version of these clips.

Any help would be appreciated and I know this comes a bit late, but Happy 2007 everyone!

Matt: I saw three Britannic clips on National Geographic Channel's "Mysteries of the Deep" program on the Britannic that showed recently. One was launch from the front, launch from the water, and fitting out. Four "Mysteries of the Deep" programs run on Wednesdays on the National Geographic Channel. Check their program schedule for the Britannic program. I checked a moment ago and it is not on January 3rd. Robert H. Gibbons

Oooooh wow. Keep me posted, PLEASE! I'm also looking forward to the production that Parks Stephenson was in. Sounds pretty in depth.

Thanks for letting me know!

Hope you're doing well Robert.

Matt.

Oh Robert, forgot to tell you that the clips you mentioned are also featured in the intro of 'Britannic'(2000), the feature film, if you want to call it that. IMO, the best scenes in the entire movie were the opening intro scenes. The rest might as well have been a cartoon. Still can't believe I bought that damn thing, but when it comes to a disaster at sea film, I just can't resist.

I have'nt seen a full length clip of the launch as well, only the short clips. Do you know how long is the length of the full clip, because the longest I have is only 14 seconds long!

The video of the Britannic launch is available to save, if you go to the Hospital Ship Britannic website and click on the History icon and scroll to the bottom of the page. You will then see a blue Click Here Icon. Right click on the icon and select Save Target As and save the file to your computer, it will save it and then click open and you will have the video of the Britannic launch.
