Cabin Across From C90

Hello, I'm new around here(this is my first post!) To the point, I'm writing a story about the Titanic(Historical Fiction). The main character is supposed to reside in the cabin across from the Thayer's(C-90). Does anyone know which was closest to across from it, and who actually occupied it?

Thanks!

Hello Chris,

Mr & Mrs Thayer were in C-68. Jack was probably in C-66. [If not he was in C-70.]
Where did you get C-90 from? C-90 was occupied by Berthe Mayne travelling as: Madame de Villiers.

C-112 was opposite to C-68 and C-110 to C-66. [C-114 to C-70.]
There are no identified passengers for C-112 [or C-114]. C-110 was occupied by George Quincy Clifford and Walter Chamberlain Porter.

Hi, Lester,

I'm sorry, I must have typed that wrong; I meant C-70. Whoops. I got the number C-70 from the main site as the Thayer's. Thanks for the information, much appreciated

Chris, if you parse some of the resources here, you'll find that on the deck plans, there are a number of staterooms where the occupants are identified if the information is known. Unfortunately, there's a lot of information regarding cabin assignments that aren't known with any degree of certainty because the information went down with the ship.

You may want to click on This Link To Cabin Assignments which represents the best that's known or which can be inferred from the available evidence. Hope it helps.
