Can you think of navy vessels that like the Vasa sank due to a design flaw

The Swedish warship Vasa rolled over and sank on her maiden voyage, as her gun turrets were too close to the water...
Her perfectly preserved hull was raised and restored this past century....

In recent times, have there been any other Navy ships-of any country-that were a flop from a design standpoint-and any instances where said design flaws led to a sinking?
I believe in WW2 a number of Liberty Ships broke up, having split open along their welds..
