Captian Edward Smith's Silver Necked Water Jug

I have recently acquired a water jug carrying the initials EJS. The jug was created by Tiffany & Co and dates circa 1900-1910. It has been strongly suggested that this jug was presented to Captain Edward John Smith for his services to the White Star Shipping Line.

The jug was given to Susan Rachel Jones, who worked for Eleanor Smith in London as a maid. It was then handed to her son, who now is interested in selling the piece.

One idea to verify its legitimacy would be to contact his remaining direct relative, his grand daughter Priscilla Phipps, nee Russell-Cooke. I don't know if anyone could provide me with a lead, which would assist in this matter.

If so, please contact me.
