CARPATHIA-RESCUER OF THE TITANIC TOKEN
Item # 716026938 on Ebay.
I have purchased this coin, and was curious if
anyone knows anything about it. The seller says
he got this coin and (4 more) from a person who
cleans estates.
On the front of the coin, it has a picture of the
Carpathia with the words "The Carpathia" at the
top of the coin, and at the bottom of the coin
the words "Rescuer of the Titanic".
On the back of the coin, is an anchor in the
center and around the edge of the coin, has the
words "strength" , "wisdom" , " valor" , and
"Perserverance" . The dates on the back of the
coin, has 1903 at the top and on each side of
the anchor (in the center) has the date 1912 on
the left and the date 1994 on the right.
If anyone could help me, find out some information
on this coin, I would greatly appreciate it.
Or where I could find some information about it.
The coin comes in a case and has the number 75
on the inside of the case.
