I have a Cunard serving tray with a cover that I am wondering if anyone might be able tell me about. They are both Elkington EPNS, the tray is date-marked 1956, the lid is date-marked 1957. Does anyone know what the name of this pattern is or narrow it down to which ships it might have been used on? I hope the pictures come through.

Hello Jason,

The Cunard silver you have is the "Pinewood" pattern.
It was used on both of the original Queens and the Caronia.
A very nice example you have.

You can see your silver "in situ" in photographs in Cunard brochures, some deck plans that have photos of the dining rooms, and in books.
