Late to the party but it seems the other post was not much faster either lol. Anyway after the collision the Olympic returned to be fixed and then sailed again. Olympic was the only out of the three ships to have a long and successful career. Even Maria Skłodowska Curie sailed aboard the Olympic. It was finally scraped in mid 1930s after the infamous even when the ship had collision with a lighthouse. It had a lot of loyal passengers though who were very disappointed by that decision.
There was never any vicious conspiracy that included swapping names or anything. There is enough photographic documentation to disprove that and recent findings in the wreck further identified it as Titanic for it had some differences that just weren't present on any known pics or plans of Olympic. The distaster cost White Star Line a heck lot of money, they lost a lot of good men and it destroyed Ismay's whole life. The entire thing was just a huge tragedy caused by greed and narrow thinking.
