Deck Plans Normandie

It is not difficult to locate deck plans for Titanic. They are reprinted in many books and are in either folded or poster form available for purchase on a few sites. Can anyone assist me in locating deck plans for Normandie? I recall seeing deck plans in New York's Seaport Museum, but I am sure those are originals dating back to the '30s. I am wondering if some sort of reprint of the plans exist and are available for purchase. Thank you everso!

Hi Judith
In the early 70's one of a series of books "Ocean Liners of the past" was published on the Normandie. It is a very fine book and has deck plans in it. You should be able to find a copy on the net somewhere to purchase.

Regards
Richard

Judith- If you are looking for an original set, the dealer, chilesplay, is auctioning them over at eBay.

I have the Isodeckplans for First and Second Class from 1938. They are detailed to the extent that they show the placement of all of the furniture. However, each deck has its own page which folds out to about three feet long and so I can neither scan nor photocopy them effectively for you. The isoplans on eBay are worth trying for, and if you can get them for less than $100.00 don't hesitate- they are worth it!

Hi everyone,

I have just a little problem finding deckplans of Normandie. I was wondering if there are any recent books that you know of that are still available in book stores like Barnes & Noble. I know it's silly really, but I do not have a credit card.

So, if anyone knows any recent books with her deckplans in it... if you could suggest one, it'd be most appreciated.

I have already ordered the Picture History of the Normandie

Hey John,

I am currently working on a CG model of the Normandie (1935 timeframe) for my final project in school. I was able to scan and piece together the deckplans in photoshop from the 'Ocean Liners of the Past' series. Give me an email if you'd like.

Thanks!
Sam

Jim: Thank you for your most gracious offer. However, my family would not be appreciative of me giving out my address. I would if I could, but I can't

Christoph: Contact me through my email address. I can send you the Isoplans for Firsst and Second, and the builders plans for Third Class, the crews quarters, and the working sections of the ship.

Hi Jonathan, I've emailed you the prints that I scanned from the Shipbuilder magazine. Due to their size I had to 'stitch' them together in Photoshop, so they might not be quite 100%, but they worked just fine on my project. Hope this helps.
