Question Did weather contribute to the disaster

This question is interesting. The weather kind of had something to do with it. It was a clear night, and obviously cold out. The cold air closer to the water mixed with the warmer air above sea level created a "Mirage" and reflected the water into the sky a little, hiding the iceberg, until they finally saw the iceberg, reacting with only 30 seconds until Titanic hit the iceberg.
