Edwardian Fashion Book By Frances Gimble

I wasn't certain where to put this so I decided here if not move it.She has two books one is
The Edwardian Modiste: 85 Authentic Patterns With Instructions, Fashion Plates, and Period Sewing Techniques

and the other
The Voice of Fashion: 79 Turn-Of-The Century Patterns With Instructions and Fashion Plates

Has anyone made any dresses from these and how easy where they ?

Lynda,

Did you order?

If so, I'm curious to know what you think, as I'm very interested in the Fashion of the era, and would love to make myself a dress from an authentic pattern!

Finally someone answered I did order a copy
The Edwardian Modiste: 85 Authentic Patterns With Instructions, Fashion Plates, and Period Sewing Techniques .I have to tell you, unless you are a professional seamstress, this book isn't for you.The only way I have discovered is that you have to blow the patterns in order to use.I should have listened to the amazon reviewers and not ordered the book, cause all my copy is doing is collectig dust.If I am to have a dress or skirt from that era I will have to buy from somebody else .Hope this helps.

Oh!
Well, I'm definitely not a professional seamstress, so I'll have to skip that one. Too bad!

Thanks for telling about it, it did help.
