Go to the ET home page and click on Senan Moloney's article called "A Tender Called America".

Senan gives the words of a number of Irish songs that were played as Titanic left Ireland.

The music for some can be found on the net but not always correctly. I found one site that has tune for "A Nation Once Again" but it's really the tune of the Irish National Anthem. Good hunting!

Dawn, Erin's Lament is a bit of a mystery. On another forum I saw that somebody had been looking for it for 15 years without luck.

The story of it being played originated in an Irish newspaper of 1912. Daly also played A Nation Once Again, the words of which are easily found on the Internet.

From the little I've found, I think Erin's Lament might have been a purely instrumental tune. I might have a lead to it but don't hold your breath.
