Hello,

At school, my Career Studies teacher told me that her Aunt was on the Titanic. She said her name was Eva Hart who died a few years ago. My teacher's name is Mrs. Nicola Jane Jarvis and she said she has Eva's biography,Shadow of the Titanic which she signed.

I dont know what to say, or ask her.

Can anyone confirm this?

Thank you,

Andrew Maheux

Andrew,
Eva Hart did not have any siblings that survived to maturity, nor did she marry, so she can't be an "aunt" or "aunt-by-marriage" to anyone. First cousins would be her closest possible survivors.

I appreciate it is nearly eleven years since your message.
I write to say that Eva Hart was my Godmother. She was seven years old when the Titanic went down and survived with her mother - losing her father. Eva was the youngest survivor who remembered details of the tragedy.
If you require any more information please do get in touch.
