what would you do if you were an officer and you were told to get the lifeboats away?i would put 7 crew 6 oarsmen and 1 coxswain and as many woman and children as i can find (stewardeses,matrons,cashiers included)i would get them away with 65 even though they could hold 70 i heard i would just play it safe.if there was no more woman about i would put in some men to fill up the empty spaces.what would you do?

According to my current knowledge,
I would fill them of course to capacity. But I would not divide families.
I would forget my good behavior by GAVING THE ORDER to go into the boats to all female passengers and families.
When all female passengers and children are saved, I would say: EVERYBODY.
