This may be a little off-topic, but perhaps not since it concerns one of our own. I was browsing in Barnes and Noble today and came across this little magazine I had never heard of before - Fate Magazine. On the cover was a headline story called "A Night With Lizzie Borden," and sure enough! The author mentioned a guide named Shelly (sic). I was so thrilled, I had to come tell you all about it. And of course I bought the magazine! Maybe I'll get Shelley to autograph it for me.

Hi Kyrila,

I think we all forgot to mention it here on ET but Shelley was interviewed in a documentary on the Travel Channel a few months ago and was quite a hit! Shelley Dziedzic, for those new to the board, is one of ET's moderators. In addition to being an event planner and floral designer par excellence, Shelley happens to be not only a tour guide for the Lizzie Borden House in Fall River but is the city's "official" Lizzie impersonator for civic pageants and other affairs. Dressed in her Lizzie gear, she even hosted a sleep-over for the kids from MTV's "The Real World" not long ago (I forget which season).

I should add that under a pseudonym, Shelley is also now a newspaper columnist, imparting wise nuggets on the history of cooking and entertaining to an enraptured public!
