Not to mention far-fetched and having NO EVIDENCE of it happening. If had happened, there would be a huge tear in the ocean floor and the debris wouldn't be scattered in between the two pieces. Plus...a fragile wreck would have fallen apart in an quake (look at all of the buildings that are built to withstand earthquakes but STILL have damage...ships aren't meant to withstand earthquakes).

Someone just wants their name in the papers.
