I have a question regarding the forward grand staircase on the Titanic.
Did every floor except the D-deck have a Cherub at the bottom?
I've heard that there was only one cherub, and that it was the one on A-deck, but in James Cameron's movie, the staircase has a cherub on every landing except from the candelabra on D-deck.. Which is it? *curious*

Johan,
There was a cherub on all the levels except D which had the candelabra and E which ended differently then the other levels. Daniel Klistorner would probably know more about this if you want to know further information.

Johan,

Matt is right, every level had one of these cherubs except for D and E deck. This would make a total of 5 cherubs for the fore and aft staircases. The two topmost cherubs were larger than those from the lower levels. The recovered cherub is a little less than 18in tall, and is believed to be from the aft staircase C deck landing.

Daniel.

Okay, Thanks!
I've seen photos of the recovered cherub, and I noticed that it seemed very small compared to the photo of the one at the A-deck landing, And now i got the answer to that one as well
