I was at a library book sale and discovered a large old cook book that had pictures as well as a very detailed account of the cuisine on board the SS France! The book is called, "Classic French Cooking", by Craig Claiborne and Pierre Franey, with pictures by Mark Kauffman. It was published by Time-Life Books in 1972. There are some pictures of the ship's first-class galleys with the cooks all doing their thing. There are also photos of some of the individual food dishes prepared on-board. Magnificent! What a fun little treat to find.
