Frank Bendell is the correct name. Bendell is the correct surname.

This was my husband's great, great uncle - brother to Rosa Bendell who was my husband's great grandma. She talked about him fondly to her daughter & granddaughter (my mother-in-law) along with his brother Bertie who went down with his ship in WWI a few years later. They are both remembered on the memorials in Southampton where the family still live.

My Great, Great Uncle - My Nan, before she passed away, mentioned that one of my Grandad's Uncles was on the Titanic and this prompted me to research my Family Tree. I am descended from Frank's eldest brother Thomas William and obviously share his Surname.
