Futility in Titanic's library?

Charles Pellegrino mentions in his book Her Name, Titanic that a copy of this book was in the Titanic's second class library.

He also mentions that another book by Morgan Robertson was in the library which is titled Beyond the Spectrum and which is about a futuristic war between Japan and the United States.

Is this true, or did Pellegrino make it up that these books ironically were on board the Titanic?

I wonder if H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds was also on board.:D

As far as I know, there is no official record or inventory of any of the titles which were carried aboard in the libraries. My understanding...and I could be way wrong on this...is that the libraries tended to be stocked with the best sellers of the day, but no official record of this is known to exist.
