Futrelle and Hoyt cabins

I don't think that the Futrelles were in C-123 because Steward Cunningham was the steward in that area and he said all the cabins in that area were occupied and C-123 was not one of them. The Hoyt's cabin, C-93, also in that area was not mentioned. Is it possible that they moved to another cabin with bathroom access? Or maybe Cunningham just forgot? Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Dear Jorge,

Mrs. Futrelle, in one of her many lengthy accounts of the disaster, claimed that Mr. and Mrs. Harris occupied a cabin across the hall from she and her husband. In fact, while Mr. Harris and Mr. Futrelle were searching for news of the trouble topside, Mrs. Futrelle said that she crossed the hall and joined Mrs. Harris, who was sitting on her bed with her arm in a sling.

I have no reason not to believe that the Hoyts were in C-93. Personally, I believe steward Cunningham just simply never mentioned them. He may have forgotten or just never thought it was necessary to state this information.

Hope this helps.

Michael Findlay
