George Rosenshine's cabin - which he presumably shared with his mistress, Maybelle Thorne - has never been identified as his name did not appear on the list of assigned cabins, a document found on the body of steward Herbert Cave after the sinking. However, we do know that he paid a comparatively large sum for his accomodation, which suggests that the couple may have occupied one of the aft suites on either B or C-deck.
Was George Rosenshine the feather boa salesman? A letter with that name on was salvaged from the wreck and is still legible (though there is a gap in the middle).
