Harland & Wolff and the partition of Ulster

The very title is a misomer. While there are 9 historical counties in the province of Ulster and 6 remained within the UK, it would be more accurate to refer to the partition of Ireland, which had never had a border imposed on its landmass before. 'Quis Separabit' I believe is the phrase!     Perspectives should make an effort at balance: otherwise we might talk about those who would secede from the secessionists...

Joe I asked how many catholics and protestants worked 0n the buiilding of the titanic! Instead, I got a history lessons. At one stage i understand that at one stage , out of 36000 workers some 400 were catholics-although the population of the city was roughly equal.

This is an extremely well crafted piece of sectarian rubbish, written to justify a well entrenched bigotry which has been intermingled with fact to give it some "credence"
