I'm trying to retrace the sailing route taken by a couple of the Danish passengers prior to boarding Titanic. Two of them boarded SS Avon from Southampton to Buenos Aires in the fall of 1911. They then worked down there during the southern hemisphere summer, returned to Southampton on April 6 and boarded Titanic. What I'm trying to find out is where they came from prior to going to Buenos Aires. On the attached (I hope) passenger lists (had two scroll and take two screen shots of the same list) Einar Windelov #494 and Hans Christensen Givar #123 are listed as coming from Harwich with - and here's where I need your help: something that reads like "USS Co", what shipping line could that be? I was thinking they just came straight from Denmark taking DFDS from Esbjerg (in Denmark on the Jutlandic west coast) to Harwich like most Danes did, but DFDS is specifically mentioned in front of other Danish passenger names, so this could not be the case.
