I assume Walter Lord had a huge Titanica collection and just wonder who he might have chosen as the beneficiary of his largesse.

Also did he leave any specific bequests for further research?

Do a search on past posts re this topic. His Titanic collection was left to Britain's National Maritime Museum in Greenwich. It has already arrived over here, and the Museum issued a media release not long ago about the bequest. Some items are already on display in the Museum's Titanic exhibition.

Inger!

I just sent you an e-mail to your hotmail account. I hope you get it. If there's a problem, let me know and I'll send it elsewhere! :)

Regards,

Daniel.

Just got your email, Daniel, with the absolutely splendid news amidst refs to the Greenwich collection - I've responded from my Blueyonder account.

If I can get the necessarily appointment and documents called up in time for this weekend I may go and suss the Lord material at Greenwich this weekend - if not, hopefully some time in the next few weeks.
