Hi, as stated in the post above I'm looking for any info in finding a crew member on the ollympic in March 1930.
I have found an old Letter dating to my great x3 grandmother recording life events, with births deaths marriages ect.
One sentence Reads " Tommy's first voyage on the Olympic was in March 1930!
If I can gather information on this man, hopefully it would be a massive breakthrough in my family tree,.. Can anyone advise please? Regards. Neil (Wales)

I cannot guarantee you success but Ancestry.com is at least worth a try. Enquire at your local library if they have "Ancestry Library Edition", that will give you free access to almost everything.

It's been a couple of years since I last looked but as recall Ancestry has passenger and crew lists for ships entering the port of New York for the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

For example, I was able to find an ancestor of mine documented numerous times arriving in New York as a crewmen on Anchor Line ships "Columbia" and "Caledonia" during the twenties and thirties.

Good luck, researching ones family tree is a wonderful adventure ! :)
