Hidden Mysteries Titanic

Just bought this game for my computer. Can't get it to install, but when I do I will post more about it. Sounds similar to Adventure Out of Time from the box, but like I said I haven't played it yet. lol Anyone that owns it feel free to post.

I have preordered the german version. Unfortunately, they have postponed the release date several times since 19.11.2009. Have you solved your install problem? Which operating system do you have?

Greetings Daniel

I have windows xp. Its not a problem with the specs. Its that my cd-rom is going out. It won't spin. My husband said that he could get it figured out. I am very anxious to get going on it.

Thanks for your concern, daniel. I will keep you informed.

I miiiiiiiiiiiight buy this when it hits the $5 bin at Wal-Mart. The premise is very loosely similar to 'Adventure out of Time', but apparently far, and I mean, FAR more far fetched. Sort of like the 1997 'Titanic' on steroids.

For a rather interesting and enlightening review of this game, complete with screenshots, go here:

Thanks for posting that Matt. I didn't think of looking it up. Looks like a lot of fun. If not too much fun for the rivet counter, fun for being a game involving Titanic.

I realize this the last post to this thread was months ago, but I wanted to chime in because I just finished playing the Wii version of this game last night. It is similar to Adventure Out of Time, but it's more like a set of logic games and puzzles that just happens to be set on the Titanic. There's very little moving animation; most of it is animated stills with voice-overs. And you can't move freely about the ship, which is a bummer because it would have been really cool to see it with modern game graphics. You move around by clicking on areas of a map.

It's a neat little diversion and not too difficult if you don't mind thinking a little bit. I think, though, that Adventure Out of Time is the better video game. The plot was so much more exciting!

For the price it isn't too bad. I like it. It isn't that difficult but not so easy to the point of being boring. I thought towards the end it was a bit soppy between the officiant officer and main character. Kind of takes away from it in that they didn't use a real officer. The animation, in my humble opinion, is very good for a cheaper game. I like the fact that it has two different endings. It would have been even more 'exciting' if you could have moved around on the ship, like the previous poster said.
