Hello Caroline,

Welcome to the ET Message Board. Quite simply, no, there was no Rose DeWitt Bukater on board Titanic. She was a fictional character, developed by James Cameron for his film. (The Encyclopedia Titanica first class passenger listings would've shown you this in a jiffy: https://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/listings/passenger_list_1st_low.shtml)

There are also several threads discussing fictional characters in Cameron's Titanic, and their real life counterparts (where relevant). Pop over and check out the Titanic Movies forum if you're interested in any of this.

(This thread is now being closed as it duplicates existing discussions, and will shortly be moved to a more appropriate forum as this has nothing to do with Board administration.)

Yes there was. She only just managed to survive though, having been in the water for a time after Titanic sank. In order not to go through with her marriage to her fiancee she switched her identity and made a new life someplace out West.

1. A crane has been ordered so that Boz's tongue can be removed from his cheek.

;-)

2. As far as Brandi's question is concerned, see above.
