I wonder if

1. Ken Marschall will ever see footage of the wreck of Carpathia and make one of his great paintings?

2. Someone will try to preserve the wreck?

Hopefully, both my questions will recieve positive answers. Probably not though.

Shane, IMHO RE#1. I have no idea of Ken Marschall's interest in Carpathia, but if he does have an interest, and was asked to go and see her, (schedule willing) my guess is he would. I could only hope that he would be inspired enough afterwards to paint it.
