If Titanic attempted a crash course

if the titanic did the crash course were it goses from full speed to full revers the ship would of jumped about and proberly stoped in time before hiting that fatel burg and also the crash course was only to be used in emagencys as it doses damage to the perpeler shafts

It took the Olympic, Titanic's sister ship, 1/2 mile to come to a full stop with engines reversed to full astern from full ahead.

Also keep in mind that the time it takes to perform a crash stop is a function of having the right people in the right places in the engine room.

Crash stop tests generally had people where they were needed. At that point in the voyage, that was probably not the case on the Titanic.
