Insert lines from other films into Cameron's Titanic

Rose, Jack and Chief Baker Joughin are clinging to the railing as the stern section goes down.:

Rose: Jack ! This is where we first met !

Jack: Then you are very, very unique, Rose !

Rose : That's a grammatical error, Jack ! 'Unique' stands by itself ! Jack ! You're drunk !

Jack : Yes. Yes , I'm drunk . I'm always two things : I'm drunk and I'm helpful.

Chief Baker Joughin ; N' so am I !

(Adapted from "Titanic" (1953))

>>Captain Smith (To Officers): Men...We've got trouble, trouble, trouble, right here in the middle of the Atlantic and it starts with T and it rhymes with Titanic........ (Adapted from "The Music Man")>>

Lightoller: A slight correction, Captain Smith !It starts with P and it rhymes with T for Titanic and it stands for Panic !

"Gotta find a way to keep the young ones' morale after we've sunk. . . "
Grin

I just thought I'd add that one.

RUTH: Tradition! Marriages are to be arranged by the MAMA!!! Things should never be changed. . .
(Adapted from "Fiddler on the Roof")

(As the Titanic is sinking)
"Life has a way of confusing us, blessing and bruising us"
(Adapted from "Fiddler on the Roof")

Here's two lines merged from Cameron's Titanic
ROSE: I'm flying
JACK: That's it, you're going overboard

Oh, I think a Hello Dolly song and dance number performed by the saloon stewards whenever Rose descends the Grand Staircase (or when she 'dies' at the end, ascends to Jack, and is 'welcomed back' at the top of the staircase) would be quite a positive addition to the film as well. Carol or Babs could even make a cameo here as first class passengers.

Furthermore, Rose should sing Valjean's "Bring Him Home" from Les Miserables either during the 'car scene', or at the end when she and Jack are struggling in the water. Take your pick.

This may be a bit crude, but what about poor Fabrizio (since he was fictional I feel I can pick on him a bit) looking up at the funnel as it's crashing down and simply:

"Oh..****"

Fill in the blank with expression of personal preference, I think you know mine. 8)

Carol or Babs should have gotten the role of Rose...everyone knows they were both considered.

From the Great Muppet Caper:

Rose: Look, Mother. It's my life. OK. So if I want to live on a beach and walk around naked...

-------------------------------------

As Rose and Jack are on the stern and everyone is hanging on or floating in the water below:

Rose: Gee, a lot of people worked on this movie!
Jack: Oh, this is nothing. Wait 'til you see the end credits.

------------------------------

As Rose is going on about how she loves Jack while floating on the door:

Jack: Rose? Rose, you're overacting.
Rose: What?
Jack: You're overacting. You're hamming it up!
Rose: I am not! I am trying to save this movie.
Jack: Yeah, well save your performance instead!

What fun-we were so overdue for a new game. How about that fabulous line from JAWS (Brody to Quint) uttered by just about anyone in a Titanic lifeboat- "I think we're gonna need a bigger boat"
The phrase is actually "You're gonna need a bigger boat."

I think this quote from Casablanca could fit somewhere in Cameron's Titanic...Rick: “Ilsa, I'm no good at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world. Someday you'll understand that. Now, now. Here's looking at you, kid."
