Is this a picture of the titanic

What ship is this? I'm not seeing any distinguishing features that I'm going to base any certainty on. Please help

Here is another. I know it's not titanic, though my source lists it as such, because the promenade deck is open. It can't be the olympic because she was white when launched, so is this the britannic? It's colors match. Tarn, or Greg or anyone else? Do you know?

The photos of the prop blade are of Olympic following the Hawke incident. The propeller blades and wing pylon were damaged from the collision. The other photo showing the ship after launch is Titanic, since she had a black hull and her promenade deck was not enclosed when launched.

To your second picture, Eric:
This is obviously a lauching pic, but I'm not sure if this is Titanic or Britannic... You're right; it's not Olympic, because Olympic was white for its launch. Also, remember that Britannic and Titanic were BOTH fitted with the "Ismay screen", meaning that both of their promenades were closed.

I know Titanic got its "Ismay screen" fitted when it was almost done being fitted out; well after its launch, and I assumed Britannic got the screen at that point of its fitting out as well. I see no feature that distinguishes them during launching, though, but my guess would be Titanic.

That launching photo is of the Titanic. The "Ismay Screen" was a more or last late addition that wasn't incorperated until late March 1912. The Britannic already had hers installed when she was launched.

Yeah but look at the spacing of windows on B Deck.(The deck under the "Ismay Screen" Deck) Titanic's B Deck windows were not nearly as close together as in the launching photo. Titanic's were much more irregularly spaced. That's a wierd photo. Looks like a combination of Olympic and Titanic. Who knows... Matt.

Its Def the Titanic at her launch when both A and B deck remained the same as the Olympic prior to her maiden voyage where the alterations to both decks were made.

Matt, Titanic's window configuration matched Olympic's exactly. It was later that the windows were altered. The key is that Olympic was launched with her hull painted white; her sister was black.
