I have an inscribed copy of Jack Thayer's "Sinking of the SS Titanic". The first name on the inscription is Frank but the last name is hard to make out:
I think it may be Withington (note the similarity to the word "with" in "with best regards") but I can't be sure.
Does anyone know who this person may be or if he has any connection with the Thayers or the Titanic?
