ive recently become really interested in the titanic. i would love to do some research on the titanic. but i need some unsolved questions to do so. please reply with any questions i will try my best to answer them and i will keep n touch with you.
I think the research into Titanic is already pretty comprehensive. If you want something to research, can you look into whether going astern towards the ship they could see in the distance would have (a) reduced the intake of water (rather like self-bailers do) and/or moved the ship - even at a modest speed astern - closer to that ship and therefore more lives saved? Lightoller in WW1 had his destroyer's bows blown off and used just this method to relieve the strain on the forward bulkheads. I'd like to know the answer to that!
