Hi all

Does anyone have any information regarding the use of Lincrusta on the Titanic?

Many thanks in anticipation

Thank you Dave. I had hoped to find further reference than the Lincrusta site which I neglected to mention I had already found. Perhaps images or original decorative specifics from white star or newspapers from the time. But again thank you for taking the time to answer. Best regards

From Titanic: The Ship Magnificent I see Lincrusta was used in B 57 and B 59, both in Dutch style. It was used for dados and friezes. It was evidently used only on a small scale.

The book I mention is the one to have, if you are interested in details of construction and interior design.

Were any remains of Lincrusta found on the explorations ?
Hi Robert, Thanks for your message, in reply I am afraid I don't know and was hoping someone out there would be able to give me that answer or show me where to find the answer. Many thanks for your time. Best regards
