Aboard the Conte di Savoia wreck. Italy had decided not to rebuild the sound, but gutted, hull. HAL was initially interested in it, to be rebuilt as a running mate for the Nieuw Amsterdam, but opted instead to build the Maasdam and Ryndam. At this point, scrapping seemed the likely option.

There are likely many more films to be found on this site. The keyword are all in the home language of whatever country holds the films. So these lean heavily towards "nave" "turbonave" " Crosiere Inaugurale" "paquebot" and "Premier voyage" clips. I suspect that there is German and Dutch material as well.
