Liverpool

i am going to be visiting liverpool soon, so i thought i could use the time looking at Titanic. Apart from the maratime museum, is there anywhere else to visit?
(sorry if this has been asked before)

Apart from the museum and obviously the docks, visit the former White Star Line head offices at 30, James Street. Ismay's office was on the ground floor in a corner turret.

I am unsure if it has changed but, until fairly recently, the White Star Tavern, a city centre pub in Lime Street, which takes its name from the White Star line, was very much a maritime-themed pub with many interesting relics of the White Star line and ocean liners such as RMS Titanic. The Liverpool Maritime Museum is worth a visit, and there are also some Titanic and Lusitania-related items in a museum that has been set up in Fort Perch Rock, New Brighton, on the opposite side of the Mersey from Liverpool. On the naval front, this 19th century fort also contains the HM Submarine Thetis exhibition, which was opened on the 60th anniversary of the sinking of the submarine.

Also, at the Liverpool Cathedral is a tribute plaque to Captain Smith, and a ship symbol on the ceiling, both of which I saw during a trip there in 2002. Be sure to ask the Cathedral guides, as the sites are not immediately noticeable.

Also, at one of the theaters is a tribute to the musicians on the Titanic; the tribute plaque is in the lobby, so the employees will usually let you in to glimpse it.
