Hi all,

I know that the chances are pretty slim, given her relatively short life span, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any books written about (or including) the SS France aside from the Picture History of the French Line (preferably with illustrations, perhaps deckplans if possible). I've searched Amazon and Barnes & Noble, but every result is regarding Nazi Germany (probably because of the "SS").

Anyway, thanks for your help,
John

Hi John: There have been several. If you go to Ebay, you can easily find a copy of '303' which is a photo history of the Normandie and the France. Villiers wrote a book about the france in the 1990s which now sells for between $95 and $150 but which is easily found. Those are the two I remember off the top of my head! if you dont have $1200 to lay out for Arts decoratifs a bord des paquebots Francais, 303 is an excellent substitute!
