A friend who has been to the USA has just presented me with a copy of a special edition of Colorado Prospector, devoted to Margaret Brown.

This is in the form of a small newspaper consisting of articles from old papers, many of them quite minor. It's published by the Colorado Historical Society and costs $3-00US. For that you get many stories and a good number of photos, many of them unfamiliar to many of us. An interesting thing is that Margaret was quite well-known in Colorado long before her nautical adventure.

The address is

Colorado Prospector
8132 E. Stetson Rd
Parker CO 80134

Give yourself a new year treat!

I have a few of these newspapers myself, and for anyone interested, they can be purchased directly through the Denver Molly Brown House Museum online store:

If anyone has any problems ordering them and having them sent to a country other than the USA or Canada, I live relatively close to the museum, and can assist.
