Midlands passengers and crew

Afternoon,

I just found some notes I had made a few years back on Empress passengers and crew from the Birmingham and Midlands area - there were at least 28. Can anyone give me any background stories on the following:

Miss Nellie Jones, 22, of West View, John Street, Brierley Hill. She left England in 1912 to take up a job as a telephone operator in Montreal and was returning to Brierley Hill to be married. Lost.

Mrs Martha Braithwaite and her two sons aged 2 and 4, of Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada. They were visiting family at Princess Street, Bilston after moving to Canada in March 1911. All lost.

Dr Lindsay of Halifax, Nova Scotia, was travelling to Solihull to wed Queenie Webb. Lost.

Mr and Mrs P J Adie and their niece Miss Doris Gaunt, 19, of The Homestead, Woodbourne Road, Edgbaston (within a few houses of Titanic passenger William Hipkins). They were returning from holiday after Doris had left school. All saved.

Mr and Mrs J Cresswell and Mr W Giles of Nuneaton. In the Spring of 1912, the Cresswells and Giles' mother went to Canada by the Laurentic after failing to get a berth on the Titanic. All lost.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Boz

The body of Nellie Jones was recovered and returned to her family in Brierley Hill, she is buried locally.

Martha Braithwaite (nee Ellis) and her sons, William and John were all lost. Mr Braithwaite was due to come over to England for a couple of weeks holiday and to take his family back after the visit to her parents.

Dr. Murdoch alexander of Halifax travelled first class, he was to marry Kathleen Webb in mid June.
He was 32 years old and had met his fiance whilst completing his medical degree in Edinburgh. He returned to Halifax in 1912, becoming pathologist at Victoria General Hospital.

Percy James Adie and his wife Marion (nee Gaunt) travelled with her brother's daughter, Doris Winnifred Gaunt. Percy died in 1949.

Frederick Joseph Cresswell and his wife Fanny travelled third class along with William J. Giles
I have an idea that William was their nephew. They were returning to visit family in England.
